Почитал материальчик, матч пока не смотрел, что там Витя Мозес, опять всех порвал ? Говорят, одной ногой практически в составе, выцарапывает себе место прямо-таки
1. Conte's system taking shape
By now it is clear that Antonio Conte wants to use a 4-4-2 system and his instructions are starting to transform the Blues away from years of 4-2-3-1.
With the ball, Chelsea clearly pushed Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Bertrand Traore forward to occupy Liverpool defenders Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan.
Without it, Conte dragged Traore back into midfield to resemble a 4-5-1 that contained Liverpool for vast stretches whenever they had possession.
Quick, dynamic players such as Willian and Victor Moses are able to tuck in slightly -- similar to the way Atletico Madrid set up their narrow 4-4-2 without the ball -- and they provided Chelsea with plenty of energy to spring attacks in transition whenever the Reds turned the ball over.
2. There is no such thing as a friendly between these sides
This International Champions Cup game was a friendly of course, though the historic rivalry between the sides meant both sets of players failed to treat it as such.
Cesc Fabregas' lunge on Klavan was enough to force the referee to brandish a red card, but there was plenty of tension bubbling under the surface leading up to that point.
Alberto Moreno set the tone by clattering Willian as a lofted ball was sent out to the right wing, while Kevin Stewart crashed into Pedro to earn one of six bookings on a sweltering summer evening in Southern California.
3. Fabregas to earn starting role
There have been plenty of murmurs from Blues fans throughout preseason that Cesc Fabregas' place in Conte's side is under threat now that the Italian is fixed on using a two-man midfield.
The way the Spaniard loiters around the middle of the pitch will not be acceptable when Conte demands his wide players to almost push the system into a 4-2-4 shape.
Fabregas seems to have been living out of the gym for much of the summer and his late challenge on Klavan suggests he is also prepared to add a scrappy side to his game if it means he is accommodated by the new manager.
His enticing delivery from set-pieces -- which led to Gary Cahill's opener -- will surely weigh heavily in his favour too, meaning for the time being he will start alongside new signing N'Golo Kante in a midfield pairing.
4. Begovic is prepared to fight
There had been some talk of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic pushing for a move away to secure a starting role, but the Bosnian quickly quelled such talk and has begun to establish a case to compete with Thibaut Courtois for the No. 1 spot.
While the Belgian is still on his summer holiday after Euro 2016, Begovic has shown character and, with Chelsea's system restricting Liverpool to play in front of two compact lines, he was forced to concentrate for long periods without getting his hands on the ball.
An athletic leap to palm away Philippe Coutinho's free kick, which was viciously turning towards the top right corner, showed that he remains one of the best back-ups around.
5. Victor Moses closer than ever to securing squad place
Victor Moses has been tantalisingly close to a place in the Blues' squad before, but now it seems to be secured.
The Nigerian, playing off the left again vs. Liverpool, offered pace, a willingness to dart at the heart of the opposition's defence and good vision to regularly find balls in to Traore and Loftus-Cheek.
Moses gave Connor Randall a torrid time with his powerful runs mixed up to keep the Liverpool right-back twisting and turning. His confidence is clearly spiking and he was willing to take on an ambitious half-volley after the Reds failed to clear a corner that was struck well but kept rising over the bar.
Conte clearly adores his tiresome workrate and the instinct to drive at opponents to find space in behind the full-back, which means he is surely now guaranteed a place in the squad and won't be sent on another season-long loan spell.
